Professional Development

LEAP’s professional development workshops are customized to address specific needs of teachers.

Any program in the catalog can be conducted as a professional development workshop, and all use an active-learning approach. (If you don’t find a program in any section of our catalog that meets your needs, we would be happy to design one specifically for you.)

LEAP's professional development workshops can take place during the day, after school, or on Saturdays.

Trainings can be conducted either as a single session or as a series of workshops.

Each session is up to 2.5 hours and includes up to 35 participants.

Some popular professional development workshops include:

  • Global Understanding/Cultural Literacy
  • Active Learning Leads to Literacy
  • Building a Classroom Museum
  • Socratic Seminar
  • Arts and Leadership
